Job summary

Seattle Children's Craniofacial Center is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join a multidisciplinary team addressing cleft lip/palate and craniofacial differences in children.

The role emphasizes perceptual and instrumental assessment of velopharyngeal function, differential diagnosis of craniofacial speech disorders, and involvement in surgical or prosthetic planning for VPI. Master’s degree, CCC-SLP, WA licensure, and children’s hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA.
• Washington State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience interpreting velopharyngeal imaging studies.
• Three or more years on a multi-disciplinary craniofacial team.
• Pediatric hospital experience.
• Functional knowledge of a second language.

Responsibilities

• Perceptual and instrumental assessment of velopharyngeal function and craniofacial speech disorders.
• Differential diagnosis of cleft palate-related speech disorders.
• Involvement in decision-making for surgical or prosthetic management of VPI.
