Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Currently holds an active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing for referred children.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapies to improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with PT, OT, Family Resources Coordinator, and primary care providers.
  • Coach families on home activities to reinforce skills.
  • Travel to home visits and remote sites daily.
  • Maintain HIPAA-compliant HER records and program billing guidelines.
  • Transition or refer to specialized services as needed.
