Job summary

Illinois Crane Inc. is hiring a Crane Technician to join our Cleveland team. You will provide quality installation, inspections, maintenance, and repair service for hoist and crane equipment, upholding high standards of safety and customer service.

This role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical work, the ability to work at height, and strong communication with customers. A valid driver's license is required for travel to sites across the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits.
• Overhead crane and scissor lift experience required.
• Associate’s degree with concentration in Industrial Electrician or Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred.
• Ability to work at height and in noisy/temperature extremes; lifting 50–100 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service overhead crane systems and hoists with quality installations.
• Perform inspections to OSHA criteria and document work.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service calls.
• Interface with customers to repair equipment and communicate status.
• Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, and organization.
