The Opportunity

Leavitt Cranes is looking for a skilled Crane Technician to join our team in Tacoma, Washington.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Crane Technician your key responsibilities will include:

  • Perform crane repairs, ensuring compliance with company regulatory, safety, and operational procedures
  • Prepare cranes for set-up and demobilization
  • Track and follow up on parts for ongoing jobs to ensure timely completion
  • Identify additional repair opportunities on retail jobs
  • Complete work order forms for each job
  • Ensure required warranty paperwork is completed accurately
  • Complete all necessary warranty paperwork as instructed by the Service Administrator

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • 5-10 years of related crane technician experience, including relevant technical training
  • Valid driver’s license supported by driver’s abstract
  • Strong computer skills and trouble shooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to contribute to a team environment
  • Background check required for employment

The base pay range for this role is: $58.08 per hour.

This is an onsite role based in Tacoma, Washington.
