Job summary

Western Pacific Crane & Equipment is seeking a Shop Helper to support technicians in safe, efficient maintenance and repair of cranes and lifting gear. You will keep the shop and yard organized, move components under supervision, and set up work areas for incoming jobs.

This role requires physical stamina to lift 50–75 lbs, comfort with heavy equipment, and a willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather. A dependable attitude and adherence to safety policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and hand-tool knowledge is a plus.
• Comfortable working around heavy equipment and large components.
• Able to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willing to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good attitude, dependable, and able to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fueling, washing, and detailing cranes and service vehicles as directed.
• Help stage units and equipment for pickup, delivery, or field service.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Shop Foreman, Service Manager, or lead technicians.
• Follow all shop safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized shop areas and report unsafe conditions.
