The Blue Collar Recruiter - Marietta is seeking a Service Writer for crane equipment at our Olathe, KS location. You will document service requests, prepare estimates, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion and invoicing.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in service writing or warranty administration for heavy-duty trucks, with the ability to read engineering drawings and hydraulics, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills. Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Document and manage service requests, estimates, parts and labor.
• Prepare repair orders with symptoms, problems and required repairs.
• Explain estimates to customers and obtain approvals.
• Track warranty claims and coordinate with manufacturers.
• Maintain customer rapport and communicate progress to management.
