Job summary

CraneWorks in Olathe, KS is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain crane equipment including mobile cranes. Mechanical experience with electrical and hydraulics is required.

The role supports growth through customer relationships and market presence, and travel to field sites is needed. Key duties include completing reports and paperwork accurately, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician diagnosing defects on crane equipment.
• Knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, LICCON, and Greer systems.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair crane equipment to OEM specifications.
• Perform maintenance on mobile cranes to ensure reliability.
• Record time sheets, reports, and paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Assist in identifying new service opportunities and customer relationships.
• Ensure safety procedures and regulatory compliance are followed.
• Travel to field sites; overtime and weekends as needed.
