Job summary

CraneWorks is seeking a Field Service Technician in Olathe, KS. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain crane equipment (mobile cranes, boom trucks, and related gear).

Must have mechanical experience with electrical and hydraulics; travel for 1–4 day intervals is required, and overtime/weekends are possible based on customer needs. Two years of mobile crane mechanic experience, ability to read manuals and blueprints, and knowledge of CANBUS and control systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, LICCON, and Greer systems.
• Reads and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings.
• Tests mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems after repair to OEM specs.
• Maintains safety and documents work with reports and time sheets.

Responsibilities

• A minimum 2 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician that can operate and inspect cranes to diagnose defects.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, LICCON, and Greer systems.
• Examines parts for damage or wear using micrometers and gauges.
• Reads and understands operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings.
• Tests mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic products after repair to ensure proper operation.
• Maintains safety and completes paperwork in a timely manner.
• Travel periodically for 1 to 4-day intervals; overtime and weekends possible.
