Job summary

CraneWorks/RentalWorks is seeking an Oiler to assist crane operators and handle rigging during lifts at active construction sites in the Tennessee area. The role emphasizes safe load handling, equipment setup, and adherence to OSHA regulations.

The position requires CDL/rigging certifications and flexibility for day and night shifts. Expect to work closely with the crane team, perform vehicle inspections, and help prepare rigging for the next job while maintaining a strong focus on safety and

Qualifications

Proficient in oral and written communication is required.
Pass drug test and background check as part of the hiring process.
Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist the crane operator in the maintenance and setup of the crane and accessories.
Perform proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of loads.
Control movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
Dismantle, maintain, and store rigging equipment.
Hoist and move loads using rigging lines and signals for safety.
Ensure all equipment is secured to the trailer before driving the truck.
Inspect trucks and trailers and report any mechanical defects.
