Job summary

CMC is seeking a maintenance-oriented team member in Durant, OK to support daily upkeep of equipment and facilities. This role emphasizes safety, clear communication, and proactive problem solving to keep production running smoothly.

You will perform routine maintenance, assist technicians, and participate in safety programs, with opportunities for growth through training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced environment requires teamwork and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust, and loud noise.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Dependability in attendance and task completion.
• Must learn quickly and multitask.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Some overtime and rotating shifts, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance personnel as needed.
• Support safety programs and uphold safety culture.
• Communicate production issues and needs.
• Ensure daily equipment inspection reports are completed.
• Perform routine maintenance or minor repairs.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Troubleshoot basic work-related problems.
• Follow start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
