Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a Crane Operator to support Terminal Operations. The role involves operating hydraulic and cable cranes to lift and move materials while strictly following health, safety, and environmental standards.

The operator will work under the supervision of the Operations Manager, ensuring safe, efficient processing of metals, inspecting equipment, and coordinating with crew signals. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Related training or experience operating different types of cranes preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Move levers, pedals, or dials to operate cranes or other equipment for lifting, moving, or placing loads.
• Determine load weights and check against lifting capacities to prevent overload.
• Inspect crane mechanisms or lifting accessories and report deficiencies.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and other activities.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and maintain safe working environment.
