Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to work on the TSENC/I-26 Downtown Connector project in Asheville, NC. The role involves operating a lattice boom/telescoping crane to drive pylons, set beams, and assist with rigging while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Candidates must have 3–5 years of crane operating experience, a crane operator license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and pass a pre-employment drug screen; strong teamwork and reliability are essential for

Qualifications

3-5 years of operating experience preferred.
Requires crane operator license.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Requires ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

Operates a Crane to complete tasks such as driving pylons, setting beams, directing and assisting with rigging.
Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials.
May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork and other documentation as needed.
May perform other related duties as required
