The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Crane Operator for the TSENC/I-26 Downtown Connector project in Asheville, NC.

The role focuses on operating a lattice boom and telescoping crane, performing routine maintenance, and following strict safety protocols on the jobsite. The position requires 3–5 years of crane operating experience and a valid crane operator license, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work under various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of crane operating experience preferred.
• Requires a crane operator license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; able to stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates a Crane to complete tasks such as driving pylons, setting beams, directing and assisting with rigging.
• Knowledge of loading and unloading procedures.
• May oil, grease, service, and perform maintenance checks; complete safety and maintenance documentation.
• May perform other related duties as required
