The Walsh Group, Ltd. is hiring a Crane Operator for a project in Asheville, NC. The role focuses on operating a lattice and telescoping boom crane to construct, maintain, or repair highway and heavy civil structures on site. Certification for lattice boom and telescopic boom cranes is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of crane operating experience preferred.
• Requires crane operator license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operates a Crane to complete tasks such as driving pylons, setting beams, directing and assisting with rigging.
• Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials.
• May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork and other documentation as needed.
• May perform other related duties as required
