Job summary

Archer Wright JV is seeking a Crane Operator to operate a crane on the TSENC/I-26 Downtown Connector project in Asheville, NC. Responsibilities include driving pylons, setting beams, rigging, and performing routine maintenance checks to ensure safe, efficient progress.

Candidates must hold a crane operator license, have 3–5 years of operating experience, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Pre-employment drug screening is required; willingness to work in varied weather and conditions is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of operating experience preferred.
• Requires crane operator license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operates a Crane to complete tasks such as driving pylons, setting beams, directing and assisting with rigging.
• Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials.
• May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork and other documentation as needed.
• May perform other related duties as required.
