Primary Responsibilities And Duties

• Operate crane to lift and move materials and other objects.
• Plan all lifts and take complete charge of all safety procedures related to setup, operation, and capacity chart usage.
• Perform rigging and daily equipment inspections.
• Respond to hand and verbal commands from riggers or helpers.
• Monitor load travel and take action to prevent injury or property damage.
• Read boom angle and drum rotation indicators.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, and determine resources needed for work activities.
• Inspect subordinate’s work for compliance, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge and skills related to the role.
• Ability to understand, follow, and communicate instructions effectively.
• Proficient in the safe use of electrical, hand, power, and measurement tools.

Requirements

• Ability to move about construction/industrial sites, including standing, walking, reaching, and crawling.
• Work in outdoor environments with changing weather conditions.
• Work irregular hours, including weekends, overtime, and holidays.
• Use ladders, platforms, lifts, and scaffolds to access equipment and work areas.
• Operate in confined, cluttered, and uneven spaces.
• Complete tasks in noisy and dusty environments.
• Move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Possess required tools, NCCCO TLL & TSS certifications.
• Comply with safety and project rules, pass drug, medical, and background checks.
