Job summary

QXO, Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to join our Belmont, MA distribution team. You will haul building products, perform pre-trip checks, and help ensure on-time deliveries in a safe, compliant environment.

This full-time role requires 21+ years, a valid Class A or B CDL, NCCCO/Crane Institute certification, and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience. You’ll work outdoors in various weather and coordinate with dispatch to optimize routes.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• NCCCO & Crane Institute Certification required.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
