Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL-qualified truck loader/driver to support our building products operations in East Rutherford, NJ. You will load, inspect, and transport materials, ensuring accurate loads and safe on-site practices.

You will work outdoors in varied weather, follow DOT safety rules, and coordinate with dispatchers for timely deliveries. Familiarity with heavy equipment and manual transmissions is preferred, with opportunities for training and certification payments.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age required.
• Valid Class A or B CDL in good standing.
• NCCCO & Crane Institute Certification required.
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, may require lifting or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site for a safe loading/unloading environment.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.

What You'll Do
