Job Description - Crane Operator - $1,500 Signing Bonus (2500017G)

What You’ll Do:

1. Promote Safety: Prioritize safety for yourself and others at all times, following OSHA and Vulcan standards.
2. Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate hydraulic excavators, cranes (including electric cranes with clam shell buckets), and wheel loaders.
3. Inspect Equipment: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete relevant reports accurately.
4. Maintain Equipment: Check fluid levels, add fluids as necessary, and assist with minor maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
5. Monitor Processes: Oversee plant operations, report maintenance or adjustments needed to ensure safety.
6. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience: Operating equipment and handling bulk materials such as stone, sand, earth, and gravel.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment is preferred.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, extended hours, and in all weather conditions, tolerating loud noises.
