What You’ll Do:

1. Promote Safety: Prioritize safety in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, actively ensuring safety for yourself and others.
2. Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate off-highway equipment to transport raw materials or finished products within the facility.
3. Inspect Equipment: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete reports, and documentation accurately.
4. Maintain Equipment: Check vehicle fluid levels, perform minor maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
5. Monitor Processes: Oversee plant operations, report maintenance needs or adjustments to ensure safety.
6. Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience: Previous heavy construction equipment operation preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Flexibility: Willing to work overtime, extended hours, outside in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
