Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in New York seeks a production operator to support manufacturing and concrete production processes. The role involves operating control equipment, feeding machines, and ensuring the quality of materials used in production.

The position requires at least 1 year of industry experience and basic troubleshooting skills. High school diploma or GED is required. Bilingual ability (English; Spanish a plus) is advantageous for team communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of industry experience is required or preferred.
• English language proficiency; Spanish is a plus for this role.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate control station and header cart.
• Keep machines clean and in good working order.
• Ensure quality of materials used in production (concrete, wire reinforcement).
• Supply machine with necessary components to make product.
• Produce quality product.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on production and batching machinery.
