Job summary

Carpenter Technology’s Latrobe Specialty Metals operations in Latrobe, PA, are seeking a Crane Operator to operate an electric overhead traveling crane and move materials across processing areas. The role requires rotating shifts, overtime, and a commitment to safe practices in a heavy-industry setting.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and pass a basic skills assessment. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required as training is provided.

CRANE OPERATOR PRIMARY DUTIES

• Operate electric overhead traveling crane
• Transport material to and from processing units, storage areas, and transfer buggies
• Keeps production records as required
• Takes personal ownership for working safely and motivates others to maintain a safe work environment

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work steady or rotating shifts
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends
• Experience in an industrial operations/manufacturing environment is preferable, but not required
