Operate hydraulic rough terrain cranes with a capacity of under 80 tons. As a crane operator, you will be responsible for lifting and moving materials, machines, or products in many directions.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacity to prevent overload.
• Move levers, depress foot pedals, or turn dials to operate cranes or other moving equipment for lifting, moving, or placing loads.
• Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms or lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions or damage.
• Direct helpers engaged in placing blocking or outrigging under canes.
• Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure loads are secured correctly before moving.
• Review daily work or delivery schedules to determine orders, sequences of deliveries, or special loading instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

• Must have an NCCCO Certification.

Experience

• Previous experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Capable of performing skilled labor for up to 12 hours a day.
• Dependable and operate with a high level of integrity.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Work Location and Travel

• Location: 1171 Grill Road, Van Wert, OH 45891.
• Requires daily travel to various client worksites, mostly within Florida, with 15% travel outside Florida within the U.S., including frequent overnight stays.

Work Environment

• Full-time, with variable days and hours (Monday - Sunday), including some overnight work and overtime.
• Safety-sensitive role, requiring alertness to avoid hazards.
• Outdoor work in harsh weather conditions and industrial environments with potential hazards.
• Must pass drug screens, physicals, and background checks. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements

• Effective communication skills (talk/hear).
• Sitting, standing, walking, handling tools, climbing, stooping, and visual acuity required.
• Ability to lift and carry tools and equipment.
• Work primarily outdoors with exposure to noise, vibration, and weather conditions.
