Job summary

Production Products, Inc. in Columbus Grove, OH is seeking a maintenance-oriented worker for 1st shift duties focusing on coil handling, receiving, stocking, and inventory accuracy. You will unload trucks, store coils, stage components, and keep work areas clean and organized.

Responsibilities include paperwork, kanban usage, crane inspections, and timely changeovers to ensure production readiness. Experience in the auto industry and a High School diploma are preferred for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prefer 2 years experience in a similar position in the Auto Industry.

Responsibilities

• Coil receiving including unloading trucks and placing coils in designated coil storage areas.
• Completing all receiving paperwork timely and use of kanban card system.
• Staging coils at feed lines and returning banded coils to designated coil storage areas.
• Staging dies and returning dies to designated die storage areas.
• Housekeeping of all coil storage areas including alignment of coils, floor free of paper, debris and mill oils, hoppers emptied and other general housekeeping duties.
• Cycle count of coils on hand and comparison to inventory records.
• Monitors status of external transfer press bolsters.
• Completes changeovers on external bolsters promptly to ensure readiness.
• Performs daily crane and chain inspections.
• Documents inspections and reports identified issues immediately.
• Performs other essential functions as assigned.
