Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Crane Operator to join our Cleveland, OH team. You will operate a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You must have crane operator certification or proven experience in a heavy industrial setting, with at least 1 year of hands-on crane operation and a solid understanding of safety protocols and attachments such as magnets or grapples. Qualifications

• Crane Operator certification and/or experience is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial setting.
• Attention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of metal materials.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handling.
• Familiarity with various crane attachments, such as magnets or grapples.

Responsibilities

• Operate a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility.
• Lift and transport metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples, placing them in designated areas or processing equipment.
• Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel.
• Conduct pre- and post-inspections of the crane, including general crane maintenance.
• Operate the following heavy equipment as needed: crane, shear, loader.

Job Description

We're looking for a Crane Operator to join our team in Cleveland, OH.

What you’re responsible for:

• You will safely operatinga crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility
