About this Role

Position: Crane Operator

What You'll Do

As a Crane Operator, you will operate cranes to lift, move, and position loads, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring efficient task execution to maintain safety for personnel and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Observe load hookup and assess safety.
• Manipulate crane controls to regulate movement.
• Use appropriate hoisting attachments.
• Maintain and inspect the crane and hoisting mechanisms.
• Report defects or malfunctions.
• Complete critical lift plan checklists.
• Follow safety procedures and operate safety equipment properly.
• Inspect cranes and recommend maintenance actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 years related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a crane/equipment operator.
• NCCCO certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
