Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in crane maintenance, heavy equipment repair, or related mechanical/electrical maintenance field.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on cranes and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical components, including engines, brakes, hubs, drive systems, and steering assemblies.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, cylinders, hoses, valves, pumps, and related components.
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting and repairs involving wiring, motors, sensors, and controls.
• Support major crane repairs, component replacements, and equipment overhauls.
• Test equipment following repairs to verify safe operation and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Identify worn or damaged components and recommend corrective action to prevent downtime.
