Job summary

Port Houston is seeking a Manager, Port Cranes to lead electromechanical maintenance of STS and RTG cranes, ensuring preventive maintenance and safety compliance. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize crane reliability and performance.

The role requires deep crane maintenance expertise, strong leadership in a large labor environment, budget responsibilities, and the ability to translate performance data into continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 5+ years in crane maintenance/supervision
• Experience with STS/RTG crane systems preferred
• Budgeting and P&L experience
• OSHA and NEC knowledge

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a large team of technicians in maintenance and repair of STS and RTG cranes
• Ensure adherence to preventative maintenance schedules and safety protocols
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders for crane operations
• Manage maintenance budgets and record-keeping
• Prepare documentation for approvals and compliance
