Bigge Crane and Rigging is recruiting a skilled Crane Inspector in Houston, TX. The role focuses on inspecting rough terrain, crawler, and mobile cranes, with emphasis on electrical, hydraulic, and drive-train systems.

Eligibility includes a valid driver’s license and the ability to read schematics. Candidate should have 3+ years of relevant experience, with 3-5 years in mobile crane inspection, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience inspecting rough terrain, crawler and mobile crane equipment (vocational training may substitute)
3-5 years of experience inspecting mobile crane equipment
Ability to perform annual certifications and inspections
Must read hydraulics and electrical schematics
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong safety and quality mindset

Responsibilities

Inspect rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment, and forklifts, with focus on service and repair
Work evenings and weekends for crane repairs in the shop
Communicate effectively with supervisors and personnel
Read hydraulic and electrical schematics
Perform competent inspections of all cranes
