Responsibilities include safety checks, lubrication, fluids, starting equipment, loading/unloading against procedures, maintaining records, and following daily checklists. This role emphasizes safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires diploma or GED and 3–5 years related experience.
• Experience operating equipment including forklift, tractor, skid steer, loader and hydraulic crane.
• Must be reliable, trainable and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment safety checks according to checklist.
• Check fluid levels and back-up alarm; add fluid as needed.
• Lubricate and perform daily service activities per procedures.
• Start equipment and verify gauges.
• Operate heavy equipment to load/unload trucks and rail cars per safety procedures.
• Follow shutdown and daily checklists; maintain records and paperwork.
• Plan work sequences for efficient completion; perform other duties as assigned.
