Job summary

Maxim Crane Works, L.P. is seeking a skilled crane mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair crane systems—from chassis to engines and electrical or computer systems. The role covers cranes, boom trucks, trailers, pickups, and semis, across a broad fleet.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read blueprints, and use precision tools to ensure OEM specifications. At Maxim you’ll work on major projects and have access to extensive training and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' mechanical experience, crane-related.
• 3+ years' experience in diesel, gasoline, and propane engines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Operate hoists, forklifts, and hand trucks for heavy material handling.
• Diagnose defects and determine required repairs on machines.
• Test equipment after repair to ensure proper performance.
• Read manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
