Job summary

Turner Industries is actively seeking an experienced Crane and Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our Pasadena, TX yard. The role covers diesel and hydraulic systems, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on a range of heavy equipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years in diesel/heavy equipment repair, and a valid driver’s license. TWIC preferred. Turner Industries offers overtime, health/dental/vision, life insurance, a 401(k) match, and disability coverage.

Responsibilities

Turner Industries Group Is Looking For Experienced Crane And Heavy Equipment Mechanics To Support Our Fleet In Our Equipment Yard Located In Pasadena, TX. The Successful Candidate Will Have Experience Working On Heavy Equipment, Gas/ Diesel Engines, And Hydraulic Systems.

This Position Offers

• Regular 40 Hours+ per week (Overtime after 40)
• Overtime and call-outs as needed - overtime paid at time-and-a-half

Equipment Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines
• Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
• Complete shop paperwork
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Requirements And Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Post-secondary certificate or degree in engineering OR training as a mechanic is a plus
• 5+ years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair
• TWIC Card preferred
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Per diem and relocation is not available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in the Houston metro area.
