Turner Industries is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Baton Rouge, LA. The role involves repairing trucks, carts, air compressors, welding machines, cranes, and other equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics per established procedures, with safety and reliability as priorities. Qualified candidates have 2–5 years of experience on GM/Ford vehicles, own tools, a valid license, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have own tools and toolbox.
• 2-5 years experience minimum working on GM and Ford vehicles.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• TWIC Card or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with modern automotive scan tools and diagnostic ability.
• General gasoline and diesel engine knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work self-directed and alone at times.
• ASME certification preferred.
• Technical training and/or industrial safety experience.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of policy.
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety.

We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic for a position in Baton Rouge, LA. The Diesel Mechanic repairs automotive equipment, including but not limited to, trucks, carts, buggies, air compressors, welding machines, cranes, dirt equipment and trailers. Non-exempt role; Reports to Direct Supervisor / Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Must have own tools and toolbox
• Must have 2-5 years experience minimal working on GM and Ford Vehicles

• Must have experience with modern automotive scan tools and diagnosis ability

Physical Involvement:
