Position Summary

The Craftsman is responsible for performing skilled construction, maintenance, and repair work across building, civil, and structural service projects. This role supports field leadership and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Gallo Mechanical Services quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Field Operations

• Perform assigned trade work per plans and specifications
• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance activities
• Follow daily work plans and schedules
• Maintain productivity and workmanship standards
• Support foremen and supervisors

Safety & Compliance

• Follow OSHA and company safety policies
• Wear required PPE at all times
• Report unsafe conditions
• Participate in safety meetings
• Maintain clean and organized work areas

Quality Workmanship

• Deliver high-quality craftsmanship
• Follow industry and company standards
• Inspect own work for accuracy
• Correct deficiencies when identified

Material & Tool Management

• Use tools and equipment properly
• Maintain assigned tools
• Handle materials carefully
• Reduce waste and loss

Teamwork & Communication

• Work cooperatively with crew members
• Communicate progress and issues
• Follow instructions from supervisors
• Represent Gallo professionally
