Job summary

Paycom - ATS in South Bend, IN is seeking a production worker to assist in the manufacture of small wooden structures such as sheds, coops and greenhouses. You will prepare materials, assemble components, and help keep the production line running smoothly.

You will operate shop equipment (chop saws, table saws, CNC machines), maintain a clean area, and support continuous improvement efforts. This is a full-time, day-shift role with an hourly wage of $15.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or able to obtain via The Excel Center.
• Experience in woodworking production preferred; basic knowledge beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Adaptability and openness to process improvements.
• Effective communication for cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Job Objective

To assist with the production of small wooden structures, such as sheds, coops, and greenhouses. Support tasks include preparing materials, assembling components, and maintaining quality standards throughout the process to ensure products are completed accurately and on time. This position reports to the CraftED Production Manager who evaluates performance annually.

Essential Job Functions

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Flexible availability.
• Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, push and pull, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Able to operate shop equipment, including chop saws, table saws, CNC machines, and related tools.
• Must obtain Goodwill provided forklift certification.
