Mackenthun’s is seeking a Homemade Sausage Specialist in Minnesota to support production of award-winning smokehouse products and provide exceptional customer service. You will ensure safe, efficient sausage production and promote knowledge of Mackenthun’s signature items.

You’ll work in a fast-paced meat department, operating equipment, stocking, and assisting customers while contributing to product development and department cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; sausage-making school preferred.
• Culinary experience, including knife skills, is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and promote Mackenthun's Exceptional Experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

Responsabilités

• Perform sausage-making functions including processing, seasoning, curing, and temperature control.
• Safely operate sausage‑making equipment such as mixers and meat grinders.
• Store and rotate supplies to ensure freshness and quality.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist customers at the Meat Service Case.
• Contribute to recipe development and new product ideas.
• Assist in other meat department duties as needed.
