Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club is seeking a Sandwich Prep team member for the Masters Tournament. You will prepare and assemble sandwiches for concessions, following Club recipes and standards, and maintain sanitary work stations.

Pay rate is $14.00/hr. This role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work in varied conditions, including heat and long hours during holidays and weekends. Training and orientation are provided.

Qualifications

• Culinary certification and/or relevant culinary training preferred.
• Previous culinary experience preferred.
• Displays interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include heat, cold, rain or other adverse conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items according to Club recipes and standards.
• Selects and uses knives, hand tools, utensils and equipment to portion, cut, chop, simmer, steam, whip, fold, blend, garnish and maintain holding temperature of food in all stations.
• Sets up, maintains and breaks down work stations.
• Ensures that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary adhering to all state and federal sanitation guidelines.
• Covers, dates and properly stores all leftover products that are reusable according to approved storage methods.
• Notifies Area Chef and Lead Chef of any expected shortages and/or malfunctioning equipment.
• Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
