Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill in Kentucky is seeking motivated candidates to join our kitchen team. This role covers part-time to full-time hours focused on preparing fresh dough, making pizzas from scratch, and operating pizza ovens in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities include baking pizzas, ensuring quality, loading/unloading pizzas, following recipes and portions, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while collaborating with servers and management.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old to apply.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to lead and take direction.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs, and stand and walk for extended periods.
• Working knowledge of restaurant kitchen operations.
• Team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and baking made-from-scratch pizzas
• Ensuring only quality finished products are served to our guests
• Loading and unloading pizzas into and from the oven as needed
• Following proper cutting, traying/boxing, and garnishing guidelines for each unique pizza size and style
• Using proper portioning utensils and following recipe guidelines
• Working cooperatively with other kitchen team members, servers, and management
• Maintaining an overall clean environment
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks safely and efficiently
• Assisting with dough making, rolling, and prep as needed
• Following all safety and sanitation procedures as well as restaurant protocols
• Safe handling, use, and storage of sanitation and cleaning chemicals
