Festival Foods in Fort Atkinson, WI is seeking a Meat Cutter for part-time hours in our Meat Department. You will cut, trim, wrap and prepare non-case ready meat products while delivering exceptional guest service and maintains quality standards.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a butcher or meat cutter in grocery or meat production.
• Ability to deal tactfully with guests and staff.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of perishable foods, particularly meat.
• Must be over 18 years old.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare non-case ready meat products by cutting, grinding, wrapping and trimming to established standards.
• Provide leadership on the sales floor, ensuring safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Apply extensive meat knowledge to assist guests and recommend cuts and cooking methods.
• Fill service and self-service cases with quality products and maintain stock levels.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive Meat Department culture.
• Help increase sales by ensuring products are visually appealing and properly presented.
• Minimize waste by following trimming standards and production lists.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling and storage of meat products.
• Assist in training Utility team members in grinding, sausage making, and special orders.
• Maintain department cleanliness and equipment sanitation.
• Provide expert guest service at the meat counter and fulfill special orders.
• Regular attendance and reliable scheduling.
