Job summary

Meijer in Appleton, WI is seeking a Meat Cutter to support daily operations in our fresh meat department. You will assist with writing fresh meat orders and help ensure timely, accurate deliveries while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

You’ll collaborate with team members and leadership to deliver high-quality cuts, maintain product presentation, and deliver friendly service to customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures used in meat processing.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current hand jack/forklift license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
