Job summary

The Brock Group Inc. is seeking a Craft Lead in Illinois to supervise a single crew, perform and direct skilled craft work, and uphold Brock’s safety and quality standards.

You will plan tasks, oversee loading/unloading, ensure on-site equipment is safe, and coordinate with QA/QC to meet contract requirements.

This full-time role requires 3+ years in craft or 2 years craft plus 1 year supervisory, and travel as needed for site work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in craft; or 2 years’ craft experience and 1 year supervisory experience
• Ability to read and understand specifications, such as blueprints, to determine requirements
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Promote Brock’s Bsafe and Bbest safety culture on all tasks
• Perform pre-job safety planning and ensure adherence to rules
• Lead toolbox meetings and conduct crew briefings
• Ensure compliance with safety, QA/QC, and contractual requirements
• Plan installation, load/unload materials, and manage equipment
• Assign work, monitor time records, and report quantities
