Job summary

Michaels in Westport, CT is seeking staff to plan and coordinate events in-store, including kids’ birthday parties, to create a fun, engaging experience and a smooth checkout. You will help customers shop, find products, enroll them in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, support omnichannel services like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, and contribute to store cleanliness and safety.

• Experience working with children and children's events.
• Must have excellent people skills.
• Strong communication, including written and verbal.
• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Ability to manage multiple events and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events in-store, including children’s birthday parties and classes.
• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Handle checkout and BOPIS/SFS processes.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety during events.
• Assist with truck unloads, stocking, and planogram duties.
