Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the team in a fast-paced beverage and food environment in Chesapeake, VA. You will uphold quality, craft beverages to standard recipes, and create a welcoming space for the community.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees
• Ability to direct the work of others
• Ability to learn quickly
• Effective oral communication skills
• Knowledge of the retail environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to build relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise coffeehouse team to deliver quality beverages and food
• Coach staff on recipes and standard procedures, including temperature and ingredient changes
• Ensure store safety, cash handling and adherence to policies
• Coordinate tasks among team members and manage workload during shifts
