Job summary

Balls Food Stores’ Hen House location is seeking an energetic Starbucks Barista to craft handcrafted beverages and deliver a welcoming cafe-style experience, while supporting sales and keeping the coffeehouse running smoothly.

You will prepare beverages and food to our recipes, provide friendly guest service, engage with guests, maintain a clean and safe workspace, operate POS systems, stock and monitor inventory, and participate in trainings to stay productive and support store readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: experience in coffee/retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages and food to company recipes.
• Provide friendly guest service to create a welcoming experience.
• Engage with guests and recommend products to drive sales.
• Keep the coffeehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Operate POS systems and related equipment accurately.
• Stock and rotate products using FIFO to ensure freshness.
• Monitor inventory and report low/out-of-stock items.
• Stay informed on promotions and seasonal beverages.
• Collaborate with teams to support store performance.
• Remain productive and support store readiness.
