Balls Foods is seeking an energetic Starbucks Barista to join Hen House, delivering high-quality beverages and a cafe-style guest experience. You will craft drinks, engage with guests, and help keep the coffeehouse running smoothly with strong teamwork and attention to cleanliness.

The role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and prior experience in coffee, food service, grocery, or retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: experience in coffee, food service, grocery, or retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare handcrafted coffee, espresso beverages, and food items to company standards.
• Provide friendly guest service to create a welcoming coffeehouse experience.
• Engage with guests and make product recommendations to enhance their visit and drive sales.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe coffeehouse and work area.
• Follow all food safety and personal hygiene standards.
• Operate POS systems and related equipment accurately.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products using FIFO methods.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate low or out-of-stock items to leadership.
• Stay informed on promotions and store initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to support store performance.
• Assist with cleaning, restocking, and prep during slower periods.
