Balls Food Stores Hen House is seeking an energetic Starbucks Barista to craft high-quality beverages and provide a welcoming, café-style experience for guests. You will handle beverage prep, suggest menu items, maintain a clean workspace, operate POS, and help keep the store running smoothly in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays is important, with opportunities to grow in guest service and team collaboration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare handcrafted coffee, espresso beverages, and food items to company recipe and presentation standards.
• Provide friendly, helpful, and respectful guest service at all times to create a welcoming coffeehouse experience.
• Engage with guests, answer questions, and make product recommendations to enhance their visit and drive sales.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe coffeehouse and work area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards.
• Operate POS systems, scanners, and related equipment accurately.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products using FIFO methods to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate low or out-of-stock items to leadership.
• Stay informed on promotions, seasonal beverages, and store initiatives.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership to support smooth daily operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall store performance and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with cleaning, restocking, and prep work during slower periods.
• Support loss prevention efforts and follow company policies and procedures.
• Participate in required trainings and continuous learning opportunities.
• Remain productive and support store readiness at all times.
• Other job duties as assigned.
