Job summary

Balls Food Stores' Starbucks inside Price Chopper is seeking friendly, service-driven Baristas to craft handcrafted beverages and provide a welcoming, fast-paced coffeehouse experience for guests.

As part of the team, you will deliver consistent guest service, keep the coffeehouse clean and organized, operate POS systems, and stay energized during busy periods while supporting store success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in coffee, food service, grocery, or retail environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare handcrafted coffee, espresso beverages, and food items to recipe standards.
• Provide friendly, helpful guest service to create a welcoming coffeehouse experience.
• Engage with guests, answer questions, and make product recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe coffeehouse and work area.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards.
• Operate POS systems, scanners, and related equipment accurately.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products using FIFO to ensure freshness.
• Monitor inventory and communicate low or out-of-stock items to leadership.
• Stay informed on promotions, seasonal beverages, and store initiatives.
• Collaborate with teammates and leadership for smooth daily operations.
• Assist with cleaning, restocking, and prep work during slower periods.
• Support loss prevention efforts and follow company policies.
• Participate in trainings and continuous learning opportunities.
• Remain productive and support store readiness at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
