Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Hawaii is seeking a Bartender to set up the bar area and mix drinks for guests and servers. You will maintain service quality, guest satisfaction and liquor inventory control.

You must follow liquor laws, handle cash and cards, and keep the bar clean and organized while delivering friendly, professional service. Previous bartending experience is helpful, and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior bartending experience helpful.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Stand for the entire shift.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Prepare beverages and cocktails according to standards.
• Process guest checks, collect cash and process cards per standards.
• Maintain bar area cleanliness and stock, and ensure liquor inventory control.
• Follow state liquor laws and report intoxicated guests when necessary.
• Provide timely beverage service to guests and servers.
