Position Summary

Under regular supervision, the Cocktail Bartender provides exceptional guest service by preparing and serving high-quality cocktails in a fast-paced, immersive hospitality environment. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisor, Food & Beverage Operations Manager, and Senior Director of Hospitality and Guest Experience, this position supports bar operations, maintains service and safety standards, and contributes to an outstanding guest experience. The role works collaboratively with hospitality, bar, and kitchen teams to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction. This seasonal position requires evening and weekend availability, with shifts scheduled Thursday through Sunday during the immersive hospitality experience season (approximately October through December), averaging 20 to 30 hours per week.

Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Service
  • Greet guests promptly and warmly
  • Answer questions about beverages, and allergens
  • Make recommendations
  • Provide exceptional, attentive, friendly service throughout the dining experience from behind the bar
Order Management
  • Take accurate beverage orders
  • Enter orders correctly into the POS system
  • Process payments accurately, handle credit cards. Balance receipts and tips according to company procedures.
Bar Operations
  • Set and maintain clean, organized bar
  • Complete opening, running, and closing side work
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards. Follow company and state rules governing safe alcohol service
  • Can maintain speed in high volume scratch cocktail service
Teamwork
  • Coordinate with supervisors, bar & kitchen
  • Communicate guest needs and operational issues
  • Support overall experience efficiency and guest satisfaction

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Follow company policies and service standards
  • Demonstrate product knowledge
  • Create a positive excellent guest experience

Education & Experience
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by formal training in bartending field, or at least five years of experience in the hospitality industry, with specific bartending experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Experience in high volume craft cocktail bar required.
