Job summary

The Newberry Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, located in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a passionate bartender to join our hospitality team. You will mix and serve cocktails to guests, following standard recipes, and provide friendly, efficient service.

Responsibilities include stocking liquors, keeping the bar tidy, complying with safety and brand standards, and engaging with guests to ensure a memorable experience. Nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Must be TIPS certified.
• Experience as a bartender.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• English literacy; other languages helpful in multicultural setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of standard cocktails and drink mixing.

Responsibilities

• Mix cocktails and other drinks following standard recipes.
• Wait on bar and restaurant patrons in a friendly, professional manner.
• Order and replenish liquors and supplies; keep bar stocked.
• Keep bar area clean and organized and ensure safety standards.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
